I actually think living a life where you have never been without isn’t of benefit. Needing to earn money gives you a reason to apply yourself, to aim for things, to build a career that can give you so much meaning. Guess that’s why research shows people who won the lotto aren’t happier after a few years, often they lose meaning. I wish being rich wasn’t seen as a skill. As they say, don’t let the opinion of the highest earner be the loudest, the often know the least.
